The Maranyundo School is an English speaking, non-denominational boarding school for high achieving girls from low-income families. It is run by the Benebikira Sisters, a Rwandan order of Roman Catholic nuns who are highly respected and have a long history of providing quality education to the economically vulnerable.

The Maranyundo School offers its students an intensive program of study based on an educational philosophy that infuses the required Rwandan national curriculum with student-centered teaching strategies using activities and materials that develop critical thinking and leadership skills.
