MGS as a Learning Hub

Sr Laetitia and Sr Juvenal successfully launched the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO)/Playful Engineering Based Learning (PEBL) project in partnership with the Ministry of Education. This project is funded by a grant from the LEGO foundation and will use tools like LEGOS and LEGO Mindstorms to teach engineering to students.

On March 18, MGS held a training session for 20 teachers from the Benebikira network and the Bugesera district, This is part of Maranyundo’s larger goal to leverage resources and become a Learning Hub for a broader network of schools in Rwanda. The Head Teachers of the 20 selected schools met at MGS and were briefed on the project objectives and roll out plans. We are so excited to see MGS grow as a learning hub and see all of the wonderful work that they do!
