Kwibuka 28 Commemorating the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi

Today, April 7th 2022 marks the 28th commemoration of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. May we take time today to remember, unite, and renew to remember the over one million victims that were lost and honor their legacies. It is also a time to support the living. 

The Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda in Washington D.C., in collaboration with the Rwandan Community in the United States, Friends of Rwanda, Ibuka-US and other partners joined efforts to organize Kwibuka 28 event in Washington DC.
