Students in STEM
MGS students are proud of their award in the FIRST LEGO League competition.
This month, we celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a day dedicated to recognizing the incredible contributions of women and girls in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
On February 24th, Maranyundo students competed in the FIRST LEGO League–a global robotics program where students build and program LEGO robots to complete themed challenges.
Students were excited to show their skills with each other. The energy in the room was infectious as MGS cheered on their classmates. Maranyundo Girls School won 2nd place in the FIRST LEGO League competition and were awarded 10 laptops! Congratulations!
Programs like Robotics competitions, Makerspace challenges, and hands-on STEM workshops give MGS students the opportunity to design, build, and innovate, turning ideas into real-world solutions. These experiences inspire girls to see themselves as leaders in technology and science.
